A calm, contemporary atmosphere takes shape through a thoughtful interplay of warmth, light, and seamless material continuity—setting the tone for an interior designed to feel timeless from the very first glance. Designed by Sqala Interior Design, this 90-square-meter residence reflects a sensitive transformation of an existing home into a serene, modern space conceived to remain relevant over time.

The project was shaped by the homeowners’ desire to refresh their living environment while preserving comfort and a lasting sense of style. The result is an interior defined by a bright, muted palette, refined contrasts, and a selection of premium materials that give each space a clear intention. Within this carefully balanced composition, Neolith Calacatta Luxe plays a decisive role through a series of precise, intentional applications that elevate key custom elements throughout the home.
“Neolith suited this project perfectly. Its quality and the diversity of structures and colors made it the ideal choice for the atmosphere we wanted to create.”

A welcome that defines the project’s character

The entryway serves as the interior’s first introduction. Here, Neolith defines the project’s character from the very first step through a custom console clad in Neolith Calacatta Luxe, welcoming visitors while offering a preview of the home’s design language.

In a secondary transitional area of the home, Neolith appears once again in an entry furniture piece with clean, understated lines, where the Neolith Calacatta Luxe countertop brings visual continuity and elevates the design with a sense of quiet elegance.

Its understated, elegant presence creates visual continuity and sets the stage for the material story that unfolds throughout the rest of the home.

A surface that brings spaces together through design

Neolith Calacatta Luxe goes beyond its practical role to become a true design element, reinforcing the project’s contemporary identity. Its soft finish and delicate veining create an elegant foundation that blends naturally into the overall composition, adding balance without overpowering surrounding textures.

In the living room, the material takes center stage on the custom TV cabinet countertops and the bespoke chest of drawers. These elements bring visual order and a sense of refined calm, engaging in a subtle dialogue with the warmth of the herringbone wood flooring and the expressive character of the fireplace.

The material palette creates a warm, balanced atmosphere, where contemporary design is expressed through restraint and a distinctly timeless sensibility. By focusing Neolith on custom-made furniture, the space gains clarity, continuity, and a well-defined identity, allowing each element to settle naturally into the overall composition.
Sculptural presence in the dining area

The dining room introduces one of the most distinctive applications of Neolith Calacatta Luxe: a generous porcelain glass case designed as both a storage solution and a sculptural feature. Its clean lines and seamless surface highlight the material’s versatility, demonstrating how sintered stone can adapt effortlessly to bespoke design concepts while maintaining lightness and elegance.
“Clients truly appreciate the modern character of their home. They are especially pleased with the spacious shelving in the dining room and the custom-designed furniture pieces made with Neolith.”
– Katarzyna Tomaszewska,
Sqala Interior Design
The surrounding elements—textured walls and sculptural lighting—add depth and character, while Neolith surfaces act as a stabilizing visual anchor, allowing the space to feel expressive yet composed.
Subtle luxury in private spaces

Neolith’s versatility extends seamlessly into the more intimate areas of the home. In the bathroom, Neolith Calacatta Luxe is used for the countertop, where its refined appearance and tactile softness contribute to a serene, spa-like atmosphere. Combined with carefully selected wall finishes, the surface enhances both comfort and visual purity.
“The bathroom countertop is one of the final touches, completing the interior with elegance and consistency.”

Sqala Interior Design

These applications underline the material’s ability to elevate everyday spaces through subtle design gestures—adding refinement without excess.

Designed to last, created for everyday living

Durability and ease of maintenance were decisive in the material selection. The project prioritizes high-quality, long-lasting solutions to ensure everyday comfort and long-term satisfaction. Neolith sintered stone surfaces offer excellent wear resistance, low porosity, and effortless upkeep—qualities that make them especially well-suited for custom furniture and high-use areas.
These technical advantages support the project’s broader vision: an interior meant to be fully lived in, where performance and aesthetics come together naturally.
A timeless interpretation of modern living

Inspired by the clients’ desire for a modern, warm interior with a bright and muted color scheme, the project avoids short-lived trends in favor of a timeless approach. Every design decision—from the material palette to the spatial composition—was guided by the intention to create a home that feels relevant beyond the present moment.
Through the strategic use of Neolith Calacatta Luxe, Sqala Interior Design has created an interior where surfaces transcend their functional role to become integral elements of the architectural narrative. The material’s elegance, adaptability, and performance shape a cohesive living experience—one that feels contemporary today and meaningful for years to come.
