Sustainability and the future of interior design were Neolith’s spotlights at KBIS 2024
Neolith once again demonstrated its leadership in the sintered stone and surface industry driving forward the conversation about sustainability, innovation, and design excellence during its presence in KBIS, the world’s most important kitchen and bath innovation show, that was held from February 27th to February 29th at Las Vegas Convention Center.
Neolith for a New Era
Besides presenting Neolith WhiteSands, a new model manufactured with an exclusive texture, and showcasing one of its newest products, Everest Sunrise, the firm presented Neolith for a New Era, a new and groundbreaking silica-free product line, without of crystalline silica.
Building on its reputation as a sustainability pioneer Neolith is poised to offer a product that sets the standard for a new era of sustainability and safety, demonstrating not only Neolith's dedication to pushing boundaries, but also reflecting its deep-rooted commitment to environmental responsibility and advancing industry standards.
Neolith revealed that the first colors featuring this new formulation will be Artic White and Abu Dhabi White in 12 and 20mm thickness, set to hit the market in Q2 2024. By eliminating crystalline silica entirely, Neolith makes a bold step forward in innovation and prevention, aiming to close the circle encompassing the entire value chain and prioritizing the well-being of everyone involved in the material handling and manufacturing process by safeguarding its most important assets: people.
Daniel Sánchez, Neolith CEO of North America and LATAM, was the responsible of unveiling the brand’s latest innovation at the engaging Design Bites session, a product showdown that showcases the latest product innovations and hottest designs in the kitchen and bath marketplace live at KBIS. Presenting the silica-free product line marks a significant milestone in Neolith's journey towards creating products that not only meet high-performance standards, but also reduce the environmental impact towards the society.
Neolith for a New Era product line aims to renew the whole brand’s portfolio in the long term to accomplish one of the firm’s main sustainability goals: becoming a completely crystalline silica-free architectural surface.
Always at the forefront of design and innovation
Neolith captivated everyone’s attention with the Design Talk panel, where renowned interior designers Breegan Jane and Vanessa DeLeon discussed the latest trends and the innovative applications of Neolith surfaces.
Breegan Jane is an interior designer, TV host and lifestyle expert who brings her inspiring style to every project she touches. According to Jane, “the key of styling a house is to make it feel like a home by adding in the personality of the owner, as well as adapting it to their very own personal needs”.
Vanessa DeLeon owns an award-winning Interior Design Firm that specializes in residential, commercial, and hospitality interior design. She is an interior designer, writer, and an award-winning designer for the Italian Trade Commission, ASID & IDS entrepreneur, and television personality. Known for a unique style coined by herself, “glamilistic”, DeLeon is inspired by her Cuban roots and the art deco style.
Both interior designers agreed on the fact that light colors are back and becoming trendy, as well as the look of natural stone. Neolith has a whole collection of models inspired in natural stone, Fusion, which offer a myriad of design possibilities.
Breegan and Vanessa also highlight that, when it comes to kitchens design, the countertops tend to be the inspiration that sets the trend for the rest of the space. They also highlighted the kitchen island should be resistant and durable too.
The influencers inspiring dialogue truly showcased the versatility and design possibilities that can offer Neolith surfaces, reinforcing its position as a go-to choice for designers seeking both style and functionality.
Neolith focus in KBIS was, without a doubt, embracing more than ever the brand’s sustainability commitment in a landscape where environmental responsibility is paramount. On the other hand, the firm also demonstrated that is at the forefront of trends and always anticipating to them, as Neolith already did by presenting last year the first industry trends book “Inspiring Living For Tomorrow. Lifestyle Trends by Neolith” that already captivated the architects and interior designers’ community through more than 300 pages of research about trends and user’s needs regarding the creation of spaces.
