This space stands out for its carefully selected Neolith materials, essential in crafting a unique and functional ambiance. From the floors and wall claddings to the sushi bar countertop, each surface was chosen for its aesthetics and exceptional technical performance. Neolith’s versatility has allowed Tako to successfully merge traditional Asian cuisine with a modern design inspired by 1960s Japanese architecture. Its durability and easy maintenance ensure that key areas of the restaurant retain their beauty over time, standing up to the demands of a high-traffic environment.
Thanks to its wide range of finishes and ability to integrate seamlessly with other materials, Neolith has been crucial in achieving a visually striking design that offers both functionality and long-term sustainability.

In this setting, the flooring plays a key role, featuring custom tiles with Neolith Calatorao along the outer perimeter. Its rich chocolate brown tone with golden veining adds a timeless elegance to the space. In a space where every element has been carefully selected to heighten the sensory experience, even the restaurant’s most private areas follow suit. The restrooms and cloakroom have been designed with the same attention to detail as the rest of the establishment, ensuring a sense of comfort and exclusivity. For these areas, Neolith Pulpis was chosen—its subtle tone and elegant finish add a touch of sophistication and tranquility, creating a harmonious and welcoming environment.
The sushi bar is one of the restaurant’s focal points, where the meticulous preparation of each dish becomes a spectacle for diners. This area required a surface that flawlessly combined aesthetics and functionality. The choice was Neolith Nero, with its satin black finish lending a distinguished and modern touch while ensuring a resistant, hygienic, and easy-to-clean surface.
“The goal was to create a space with a natural feel, where stone complements warmer materials like wood and earth tones.”

The key to a durable and versatile design
Neolith surfaces have been fundamental in this project, not only for their durability and ease of maintenance but also for their ability to seamlessly integrate with the rest of the design elements.
“By using Neolith for both flooring and countertops, we achieved the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. Additionally, a major advantage was the variety of finishes and the durability of the surfaces.”

Sustainability also played a crucial role in the selection of materials. This philosophy is reflected in every detail of the restaurant, where Neolith’s quality and longevity ensure a space that will stand the test of time.
