5 tips on how to clean a shower tray

-san-simone-new-classtone

After a day of work, there’s nothing like coming home and enjoying the relaxation a shower can give you, is there? Finding it impeccable brings back that feeling of using it for the very first time, bringing harmony and order to that oh so intimate place accompanying us day after day.

To keep it just like that very first day, use these tips for cleaning with all-natural products to not only keep your bathroom spick and span, but also take care of our planet.

01. Clean your shower tray with white cleaning vinegar

Choosing all-natural products is always a good choice as it prevents any chemicals from spilling.

You can use a mix of equal parts vinegar and water, and let it soak for a few minutes. Rub afterwards if necessary and rinse with plenty of water.

02. Use neutral soap to clean a resin shower tray

If your shower tray is made of resin, it’s better to use neutral soap rather than other multi-purpose cleaning products. After wiping it down with a rag or sponge, you can sprinkle some neutral soap across the surface and let it sit for five minutes. Then, use a sponge to clean the surface.

03. Clean limescale with lemon and white vinegarspan>

Anti-scaling agents are often abrasive and can damage the shower tray surface in the long run. You can use a mix of two lemons and two cups of white vinegar, letting it soak in for about 30 minutes. Rinse afterwards with plenty of water and you’ll see the excellent results.

04.Use sodium bicarbonate to take care of your shower tray

Bicarbonate is another all-natural product with magnificent properties for boosting hygiene in the bathroom. You can make a paste by mixing bicarbonate with water and then apply it directly to stains. Plus, it has deodorizing properties so using it will eliminate any bad odors for an even more cozy atmosphere.

05. Cleaning a sintered stone shower tray

Sintered stone is a very hygienic material and it’s specially recommended for shower trays. The ultra-compact, zero porosity surface prevents an accumulation of dirt and bacteria, making it very easy to clean.

It’s highly impermeable meaning it’s hard for mold and fungi to appear on the surface. Plus, it can be cleaned with all-natural solutions and with most cleaning products thanks to its resistance. For difficult stains, you can use descaling acid-based products without any problems and without worrying about damaging or decoloring your shower tray.
