Sustainability and innovation were Neolith’s highlights at Salone del Mobile 2024

With more than 361.000 attendees in its 2024 edition, Salone del Mobile has consolidated as an international point of reference of the sustainable innovation and the future of home living, where Neolith was present with own stand in Rho Fiera and through product collaboration in Eurocucina and International Bathroom Exhibition, the biennial editions which were also held this year.

Neolith reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and sustainability with a view to the surfaces of the future, presenting a new product line that does not contain crystalline silica, Neolith for a New Era.

A tribute to the iconic and the catwalk for the newest colours

Besides showcasing its most iconic models through a stand that evoked the visuals of an art gallery, Neolith also displayed its newest colours presented globally in spring. Neolith Calacatta Roma, Everest Sunrise and Cappadocia Sunset, are Neolith’s newest additions to its portfolio. Inspired by the majesty of nature and the hidden gems on Earth, these models pay a tribute to nature and timeless beauty. Those who visited the brand’s stand could admire Neolith Universe through the sensory-based concept that Neolith prepared for Salone like a camera obscura.

Neolith Whitesands also debuted for the first time in Europe. A new model manufactured with a new digital technology and a new texture that provides a new hyper-realistic finish, which will be launched globally next June.

Crafting the surfaces of the future

Building on its reputation as a change agent in the industry regarding the sustainability path, Neolith led the conversation through the presentations of two prestigious architectural studios in Italy: Lombardini22 Design Thinking and F&F Design Studio.

The former, which is the fourth best-rated architecture and design studio in Italy, focused on detailing its vision about future trends that studios face in relation to sustainability. Lombardini22 naturally aligns with ESG guidelines right from the design phase, as a benchmark through the work of its entire community of professionals. In this sense, Lombardini22 takes responsibility to address environmental, social and governance to help reduce vulnerabilities and manage climate risks, a philosophy totally aligned with Neolith’s principles about its sustainability policy.

F&F Design Studio by Fulvio Fantolino, whose extensive career has become a reference in the sector, showed the versatility of Neolith architectural surfaces and how they have helped him develop some of his projects. Fulvio highlighted Villa Albisola, a great vila from 1912, where his studio took over the restoration process. Neolith played a key role, since its surfaces were used in both indoors and outdoors, creating amongst others a unique terrace floor that combines a classic style with a truly innovative material. Fulvio has already worked with Neolith in several occasions and emphasized the spectacular versatility of the brand’s architectural surfaces, which can be applied in a myriad of applications.

These presentations were part of the programme of talks offered by some of Neolith's experts, who presented the brand’s new range of surfaces designed to meet the challenges of the future, Neolith for a New Era.
