where Neolith is used in
360º.

Project location:      Cadiz, Spain
Project type:            Indoor and Outdoor
Neolith materials:

Neolith Arctic White

Neolith Basalt Black

Neolith Iron Frost

Neolith Beton

Neolith Iron Grey

Simple shapes are the main focus of this retreat near the beach in the southern town of El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz, Spain).

A house with refined lines and a minimalist style designed by Basilio Iglesias Lobatón (BIA Arquitectos), whose approach combines simple interconnected shapes to reduce any curving as much as possible.

The result is a surprising home with a timeless look for which resistant and natural materials were chosen that are also sustainable and capable of bearing the typical coastal weather. They include materials such as Neolith Sintered Stone, which was used in various ways in the different rooms to clad the interiors and exterior of the home.

360° contemporary minimalism

The visual beauty, high performance and low maintenance were all taken into consideration when making the choice. Other important requirements including the sustainability, hygiene and safety were initially desired and, therefore, Neolith ended up being used as a 360° surface throughout the home.

The exterior, which is fully cladded in Neolith Arctic White, makes a strong visual impact. It’s a safe bet as it can combine with any architectural element for an impeccable look. This model is used in contrast to the detail-rich dark Basalt Black, which provides definition for some of the supports and window frames.

Neolith Iron Frost, a surface with a white background, grey water and delicate touches of metallic shine, is found on the floor inside as well as the outside of the home. The use of this unique model inside and out reigns throughout the home creating this distinctive 360° effect.

Meanwhile, Beton, which is an interpretation of fresh concrete, is integrated on the upper floor in the dressing tables and a contrast wall in each of the bedrooms to create a relaxed and rather enveloping setting.

The urban touch is provided by Neolith Iron Grey on the walls, dressing tables and shower booths in the bathrooms. These limitless possibilities of use when it comes to Sintered Stone add continuity and balance to the atmosphere without compromising any of the integrity due to the resistance, near-zero porosity and minimal maintenance.

The beauty of simplicity

This home design highlights the beauty of what’s simple. It’s the perfect example of how less is more: choosing a palette with only a few colors, the tones and diverse nuances of which result in a home with a serene style that induces calmness where Neolith works like an architectural skin.

Plus, it’s 100% natural material produced in a “carbon neutral“. environment. Also one of the safest and most hygienic, the composition, format and lightness mean it is easily manageable.

A great choice in any type of residential or commercial project for 360º appreciation.
