The traditional Christmas market of the popular Carmen Lomana, businesswoman, television collaborator and collector of Spanish haute couture, took place this year at the Neolith Madrid Living Gallery. On this occasion, Lomana’s Market was in favor of the “Somos Nupa” Association, which helps children who suffer from rare diseases and that generate a great social, economic and emotional impact on their families.

Design and fashion for a good cause

From November 23rd to 26th the Neolith showroom, usually a design and inspiration center for architects and interior designers in the capital, which is located at 94 Alcalá Street, changed its purpose completely and was filled with luxury objects belonging the businesswoman’s closet to give them a second life, as well as helping in this important social work carried out by the NUPA Association.

The businesswoman and her team worked during the two days prior to the event to transform the Neolith space into a Pop-up store of luxury vintage clothing and accessories, with the sole objective of raising funds for this association, which supports children suffering from intestinal failure, multivisceral transplant and parenteral nutrition and their families.

A dreamy location

Hundreds of people came to the Neolith Living Gallery during the four days that the event lasted to support Carmen Lomana and to collaborate with the NUPA association, purchasing fashion and pieces from big brands as well as buying dolls created by the NUPA Association, which represents real children who suffer from the disease, to collaborate with the cause.

Neolith loaned its premises without hesitation to host the Lomana Market this year, since it was not possible to count with its old location. The new, centrally located location was a huge success, with large queues waiting at opening and a packed space every time.

Through this gesture, Neolith demonstrates its social commitment once again, giving its support to non-profit associations that collaborate, through their activity, with the vulnerable groups that need it the most.

Since its inception, Neolith's goal has not only been to develop and create an excellent product, but also to help create a better world through sustainable, ethical practices and contributing to society.
