Neolith transforms the library into an emotional setting at Casa Decor 2026
- In collaboration with the PersonalK studio, Neolith presents “Entre superficies y palabras,” a space conceived as a social and family living room that invites visitors to stay, read, reflect, and share.
- The proposal reveals a warmer, more sensory, and more approachable perspective on Neolith through a carefully curated combination of surfaces, materials, and pieces that reinterpret the library of grand old homes as a place for gathering, beauty, and memory.
There are spaces that remain in memory even before they have been experienced. Places that awaken a familiar, almost intimate feeling, as though they belonged to a shared memory. It is with this spirit that Neolith’s proposal for Casa Decor 2026 was born: a project that appeals to the emotion of lived experience and reaffirms the value of interiors that invite people to stay. A space to be in, to read, to reflect. A place where time seems to move in a different way.

In collaboration with the interior design studio PersonalK, Neolith presents “Entre superficies y palabras” at this new edition of Casa Decor, a proposal conceived as a large social and family living room where design, surfaces, and memory intertwine naturally. The installation evokes those homes filled with stories, books, photographs, cherished objects, and unhurried conversations; settings that remain in memory because of the warmth they convey and the way they embrace everyday life.
Far from being conceived solely as an aesthetic exercise, the installation proposes a new way of looking at Neolith: more sensory, more tactile, more emotional. It is an approach that highlights its ability to blend seamlessly into atmospheres rich in nuance and to coexist with other materials, textures, and carefully selected pieces that come together to create an immersive, sophisticated, and deeply livable interior.
A space to stay, read, and reflect
The inspiration for the project stems from a personal memory and a very specific image: the family library as the heart of the home, a setting for gatherings, reading, music, study, and long after-dinner conversations. PersonalK brings back that idea of a lived-in home and translates it into a contemporary room where every element has been designed to evoke familiarity and create an immediate connection with those who visit.

In this way, the library is no longer understood as a contemplative or static room, but is transformed into a living room open to gathering, pause, and shared experience. Neolith’s proposal at Casa Decor 2026 revives an appreciation for interiors that are enjoyed through all the senses: filtered light, the presence of books, the substance of noble materials, music in the background, quiet conversation, and the pleasure of inhabiting a space that conveys serenity.
For Andreas Manero, Group Marketing Director at Neolith, “Casa Decor represents one of the leading showcases for interior design in Spain and a strategic event for our brand. This year, our aim was to present a version of Neolith that is deeply connected to emotion, memory, and the warmth of home, within a proposal that inspires, welcomes, and reveals new creative possibilities for our surfaces.”
Behind the scenes: PersonalK’s vision
Founded by Pilar Alberola and Lucía González-Orús, PersonalK develops interior design projects with a strong personality, always focused on reflecting the way people live in the spaces they inhabit, while maintaining a carefully balanced relationship between functionality and beauty. That philosophy aligns naturally with the proposal created for Neolith at Casa Decor 2026, where the project is built around an intimate and recognizable narrative.

In “Entre superficies y palabras”, the studio creates an atmosphere rich in subtle contrasts and cultural references, where materials take center stage. Neolith surfaces are integrated into the architecture of the space and into different decorative solutions with an elegant and serene presence, reinforcing the immersive character of the overall concept.
In the words of the PersonalK studio: “With this space, our goal was to bring back the library as the heart of the home: a place for gathering, introspection, and shared enjoyment. Together with Neolith, we shaped a proposal that connects memory and contemporary design, surrounding visitors with an atmosphere that feels intimate, cultured, and deeply welcoming.”
Material richness, texture, and a new reading of Neolith
One of the project’s greatest strengths lies in the selection of materials and the way they are combined to create a visual and tactile experience full of nuance. Among the featured models in the space are Neolith Himalaya Crystal, Neolith Serpeggiante, and Neolith Rapolano as the main materials, bringing brightness, texture, depth, and an aesthetic foundation that is highly consistent with the overall concept. They are joined by other models such as Neolith Obsidian, Azahar, Pietra di Luna, and Niagara, used to reinforce contrasts, enrich the palette, and accentuate specific points throughout the journey.

The proposal includes a wide variety of applications within the space, allowing Neolith to showcase an especially versatile side, capable of delivering aesthetic continuity and technical performance without giving up warmth or expressive richness. In dialogue with materials such as walnut wood, natural textiles, acoustic solutions, and a carefully curated selection of pieces from collaborating brands, Neolith surfaces help define a space where beauty is experienced in a calm and immersive way.
In this context, ALVIC contributes the wood paneling applied to walls and shelving, adding warmth and visual continuity; Natuzzi provides a furniture selection composed of a sofa, armchairs, a mirror, and a side table; and IDEATEC contributes an acoustic ceiling designed alongside PersonalK that blends naturally into the overall concept. Also featured are the Beosound Emerge speaker by Bang & Olufsen, technical lighting by Simon, and the temperature control system by Airzone, all of which help create a harmonious balance between technology and design.
With its presence at Casa Decor 2026, Neolith reaffirms its commitment to contemporary design that goes beyond pure functionality to connect with emotions, lifestyles, and new ways of living. It is a space that once again confirms the brand’s ability to lead the dialogue between innovation, architecture, and interior design from an inspiring and deeply contemporary perspective.
Neolith’s installation at Casa Decor 2026 will be open to visitors from April 9 through May 24 in space 19 on the second floor, inside the building located at 11 San Agustín Street, on the corner of Cervantes, in Madrid’s Barrio de las Letras. An opportunity to discover a project that invites visitors to pause and rediscover the emotional value of spaces created to be lived in.
