A new perspective on luxury design in New Delhi
What if a showroom could offer more than a collection of beautiful materials? What if the space itself became an expression of their architectural potential?
This is the idea behind the new Valueline flagship showroom in Sultanpur, New Delhi. Designed by ZHCollective | Habitat Architects, the 10,000-square-foot experiential boutique offers a fresh perspective on luxury interiors, inviting architects, designers, and homeowners to discover how materials can shape the spaces we inhabit.

Created by Valueline, Neolith’s exclusive partner in India, the showroom goes beyond conventional product displays to offer an immersive design experience. Neolith plays a central role in this vision, with its surfaces integrated into the architecture and showcased through a variety of applications that reveal their creative potential.
The result is a space in which every room tells a different design story, and every surface becomes an opportunity for discovery.
An architectural journey designed to be discovered
For architects Zafar Choudhary and Sarah Choudhary, the creative minds behind the project, the starting point was an existing interior with multiple structural columns and a relatively low ceiling.
Rather than concealing these constraints, the team transformed them into defining elements of the design. Inspired by the experience of walking through a museum or art gallery, they developed a sequence of interconnected environments, each revealing a new composition of materials, textures, and objects.

A continuous ceiling grid and a distinctive black floor border provide a common architectural framework. Within it, changes in finishes, carefully positioned furniture, and architectural portals introduce different atmospheres while maintaining a clear sense of direction.

The warmth of a private luxury lounge adds a residential dimension, encouraging visitors to spend time exploring, discussing ideas, and imagining possibilities for their own homes.
“We were interested in the experience of a museum or gallery: the way an object holds your attention, the space around it, and the anticipation of what follows.”

This approach reflects Valueline's ambition to create a destination that responds to the evolving expectations of India's luxury design market.
As Samridhi Anand, CMO of Valueline Group and Business Head – North, explains, the intention was to bring material inspiration, technical understanding, and meaningful design experiences into one destination.
“We are not simply bringing international brands to the Indian market; we want to help architects and designers understand how these products and materials can translate into better-designed spaces.”

Neolith as part of the architecture

One of the most distinctive aspects of the new Neolith showroom is how its surfaces are integrated into the interior design itself. The architects have incorporated Neolith across walls, floors, shower areas, backsplashes, and lounge spaces, demonstrating how different designs can shape the atmosphere and character of each setting.
Each Neolith design plays a specific role within its surroundings, interacting with elements of brass, stainless steel, wood, and textiles.
“Neolith tuvo papel fundamental desde el inicio, ya que la arquitectura del showroom se desarrolló a partir de las mismas superficies que después se mostrarían en él”.

This relationship between material and architecture was also central to Valueline's vision, as Neolith’s partner sought to demonstrate how sintered stone can become an integral part of the creative process, extending beyond its traditional role as a surface covering.

The design team explored Neolith surfaces at full scale, studying how their patterns would extend across walls and how their colors and finishes would interact with lighting and surrounding materials.
The selection includes Silk, Satin, Slate, Riverwash, and Décor Polished finishes, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate the differences between textures, reflections, and visual depth in real architectural settings.

The dialogue between classical and contemporary elements is equally important. Decorative moldings meet slender metal frames, while carefully positioned basins and fittings stand against expressive stone-inspired backgrounds.

Nothing is presented in isolation. Each composition has been designed to show how the relationship between surfaces and objects can transform the perception of an interior.
For Valueline, this balance between visual impact and practical relevance is essential.
“We wanted a considered balance between visual impact, material quality, functionality and the way different products come together.”

The result allows visitors to appreciate Neolith not only for its aesthetic qualities, but also for its versatility across different applications, offering inspiration for residential and commercial projects alike.
A new way to experience luxury surfaces
Beyond its architectural identity, the new Valueline showroom reflects a broader evolution in how luxury materials are selected and experienced.
Today, architects and interior designers increasingly seek surfaces that combine distinctive aesthetics with durability, long-term value, and design flexibility. Larger formats, cleaner detailing, natural-looking textures, and sophisticated finishes are becoming central to contemporary interiors.

There is also a growing emphasis on wellness-oriented spaces, particularly bathrooms, where clean lines, rich materiality, and a carefully curated selection of essential decorative elements allow Neolith surfaces to take center stage. With their distinctive designs and strong visual character, these surfaces become the main decorative feature, creating environments that invite a more expressive and sensory exploration of materials.
In this context, the Neolith showroom offers something particularly valuable: the opportunity to discover materials in settings that closely reflect their real-world applications.
“A material can look beautiful in a photograph, but experiencing its scale, texture, finish and interaction with light in person is an entirely different experience.”

This philosophy extends beyond the physical design. Valueline envisions the boutique as a place for knowledge sharing, material demonstrations, and conversations with the architecture and design community.

By combining Valueline's understanding of the Indian market and its relationships with local professionals with Neolith's material expertise, the space becomes a resource for translating creative ideas into real projects.
More than a new destination for luxury interiors in New Delhi, the showroom represents a shared vision between Valueline and Neolith: bringing materials closer to the people who design with them and opening new possibilities for contemporary architecture.
