Sintering Technology: compacting, resistance and durability

It consists of subjecting the 100% natural raw materials to very high pressures and temperatures. The combination of raw materials goes through a press in a first phase where force/pressure of up to 400 bars is applied. In a second phase, the slabs are baked in an oven at a temperature of more than 1,200ºC. This way, the Sintering Technology used by TheSize gives Neolith physical and mechanical features which are unprecedented in the construction industry.

Full Body Technology: full body decoration

Real full body technology that integrates the same color and design throughout the body for greater esthetic and visible even edging.

Pierre Bleue Full Body

NAP technology (NEOLITH® Airless Pistol): soft touch

This technology gives Neolith slabs a texture that is soft to touch. It is sprayed with the NAP Technology upon leaving the oven to give the surfaces a silky finish known as the Silk finish.

Making a splash: HYDRO-NDD 2.0

Over the last couple of years, Neolith has observed a growing environmental awareness amongst designers regarding the materials specified for both residential and commercial spaces. This lead to the development of HYDRO-NDD 2.0.

HYDRO-NDD 2.0 is a water based decoration technique which greatly reduces the contaminating emissions sent into the environment from traditional printing methods. The new technology will deliver the same high quality colour and textural definition expected from Neolith's surfaces with reduced pollutant output.

The revolutionary new process achieves exactly the same, high-quality patterns but with a far lower carbon footprint. This offers designers more possibilities than ever before to realise their dream spaces whilst also emphasising Neolith's commitment to being the most sustainable Sintered Stone brand on the market.

Since Neolith® first arrived on the market in 2009, the brand has strived to manufacture surfaces as true to the original source material as possible, but with the enhanced resistance and characteristics of Sintered Stone.

From sustainable, high definition digital design to continually improved organic composition, Neolith® has positioned itself as the industry pioneer, creating patterns which look identical to complex, spontaneous stones, such as marble and granite, as well as untreated wood and patinated metals.

Now this market-leading brand takes hyper-realism to the next level, achieving an essential degree of detail the industry has struggled to achieve over the last decade.

Following seven years of intense research and development, Neolith® is pleased to announce a revolutionary, game-changing innovation for Sintered Stone: Full Body Veining Technology.

An industry milestone, Neolith® Full Body Veining has been specially created for thicker slabs. Two proposals were recently showcased by Neolith® in Verona, Italy, where visitors to the brand’s ‘X Anniversary’ installation had the chance to see the level of refinement with the slabs’ veining.

In 2020, the new technology will be incorporated into the color range, with the intention of launching new, Neolith® Full Body Veining collections in the future.
